what is xplore?

xplore is a mobile technology solution where local, family-run, independent businesses can be discovered, and independent businesses can connect more closely with their customers. Rewarding them for their loyalty, sharing news, offers and events and building strong, personal relationships so that they can continue to be the hidden gems of our communities.

why xplore?

Corporates are killing high streets - fact! It might be an old one, but it's a good one. This article from John Harris for The Guardian sums it up perfectly. The sheer scale of the likes of Amazon and its ripple effect is leading to deep social transformations. He comments, 'consumerism is no longer a matter of venturing outside the home but the lonely transcendence of ordering' followed by almost instant gratification. It's transactional, and it's soulless.
