We’ve always had one mission: to unite communities, independents, and locals into a single movement that defends what makes our towns and cities worth living in.

And now, with the launch of the #WhereYouSpendMatters campaign, that mission is becoming action — bold, measurable, unstoppable action:

What’s New: The Local Resistance

For Independents: You can only join by declaring your independence or being invited by another independent — keeping the map 100% genuine. No chains. No fakes. No corporate gloss.

For Locals: If independence still matters to you, you can nominate your favourite businesses and use Xplore to support them directly. Every visit, every purchase, every nomination counts.

For Communities: Every time a new town or city joins the map, the movement grows stronger — connecting cities, towns, and independents into one collective voice.

How to Take Part

• Independents: Make a short Instagram video saying:
  "Hey Xplore Local, we’re [business name], we’re [type of business] based in [location], and we’re an independent. Get me certified!"
  Tag @xplorelocalapp and 3 other independents to join the map and join The Local Resistance.
• Locals: Nominate your favourite independents. Share the movement using #WhereYouSpendMatters and #JoinTheLocalResistance
