We’ve listened, learned, rebuilt, and reimagined — all with one goal:
To make it easier for people to discover, connect with, and support real independent businesses — the ones that give our communities their character, soul, and strength.

And now, with the launch of the #JoinTheLocalResistance movement, we’re not just offering a better way to explore.
We’re building a movement to push back against the systems that are killing our local economies — and to give everyone a way to do something about it.

We’ve now launched a nationwide campaign to map every Certified Independent business in Britain — and we’re calling on the public to help.

If you run an independent business, you can now get Certified for free and join the movement.
If you’re someone who believes local still matters, you can nominate your favourite independents and use the app to support them directly.
