Cortado Cafe

Proudly displayed on the counter, seen as soon you walk into this café, is a sign reading ‘But first Cortado’, and this is definitely a statement we can get behind. Named after the drink, Cortado Café is a warm and inviting place you’ll happily spend a few hours in, sipping on maybe a Cortado, or maybe another drink found on their wide menu. Situated right in the heart of Bath, on Bridge Street, it’s easy to find and easy to come back to, time and again. With a simple and light wooden aesthetic inside, paired with friendly faces at the coffee machine, this café makes you feel comfortable as soon as you step inside. The speciality here? Argentinian empanadas with tempting flavours such as ‘mince beef al Malbec’ or spinach, eggs and béchamel and at just over £2 per empanada, they’re the perfect little snack to get with your coffee! But that’s not it for the menu, also on the menu they have bagels, toasties, quiches and salad bowls. So whatever you are hungry for, Cortado is is sure to have something to satisfy.
