Grano Kitchen
Born from pop-ups and passion, Grano Kitchen has carved out a space of its own in Bristol’s vibrant food scene. What started as a modest market stall by chef Julio Alberto Noriega Bellissimo is now a full-fledged Italian restaurant in Old Market, with a new pasta bar recently added in St Nick’s Market. Every dish here tells a story, one of tradition, community, and fresh pasta made daily with uncompromising care. Grano doesn’t chase trends; it champions flavour, simplicity, and the kind of soul-soothing cooking that sticks with you long after the last forkful.
The menu shifts with the seasons but always centres around honest ingredients and classic Italian comfort. Whether it’s a rich ragù clinging to silky ribbons of tagliatelle or a vibrant vegetarian special that surprises you, there’s nothing fussy, just the warmth of a kitchen where everything is made by hand and served with pride. In a city full of food, Grano stands out by keeping things beautifully simple.
We make fresh pasta every day because it matters, to us, to our customers, and to the way food should be.
