Comptoir+Cuisine

If ever there was a match made in heaven it surely doesn’t get any better than cheese and Champagne. 34 Champagnes to be precise, exclusively from small, independent growers and producers paired with only the finest French cheeses. Sound good? It gets better. Comptoir + Cuisine also have a small bistro serving tapas style French sharing plates and charcuterie. There’s more. In a bid to make their city centre space as French as French could be the clever Monsieurs behind this new venture are also importing homeware, cookware, utensils, skincare, fabrics, furnishings and even furniture. Fantastique! Everything comes from artisan growers and makers, is organic and ethically sourced and has that rare and uncanny ability to find a special place in your heart to keep you coming back for more but let’s be honest, they had us at Champagne and cheese.
