We are seeking a talented and motivated Community Growth Manager to join our team on a 6-month full-time contract. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with independent businesses throughout Bristol, building relationships, and driving their participation in our platform. Your primary focus will be on signing up businesses and ensuring they actively utilise our platform as well as contributing to the growth and development of our local economy.
- Identify and approach independent businesses in Bristol's neighborhoods to promote our initiative and gain their participation
- Travel across Bristol visiting and talking to communities and it’s independent businesses
- Build strong relationships with business owners and key stakeholders, understanding their needs, concerns, and objectives
- Present the benefits and value of joining our community, emphasizing the potential for business growth, increased visibility, and networking opportunities
- Develop and execute strategic outreach plans to reach a wide range of businesses and ensure maximum participation
- Work closely with the marketing team to create compelling promotional materials, including presentations, brochures, and social media content
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to businesses that have signed up, ensuring they actively engage with the community and maximize the benefits offered
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather feedback from businesses and contribute to the continuous improvement of our community initiatives
- Track and report on key metrics and performance indicators, demonstrating progress towards targets
- Stay updated on local business trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth
- Source, liaise and manage business/community events to be listed on the platform
- Handle customer service gracefully, with the goal of turning issues into opportunities to create lifelong evangelists
